Ok, so Scrum didn't do the trick for you? The teams fail sprints, the product owner can’t predict the releases anyway as there are too much new stuff added to the backlog all the time, the business people does not get anything because they have to wait five weeks for a 1 hour job and the team members complain about the unnecessary burden of actually being held accountable for what they do every day.....

I have read som blog posts and articles introducing the concept of the Scrum Master Jar Jar. The story is that the Scrum methodology just replaces a "pointy haired boss"-project manager with a "Scrum master jar jar" who asks questions on the morning meeting which takes up time the developers could use for more important tasks....

Face it. For each process or method there is someone developing some tool to support us in this process. Most of the time this comes from a tech geek standpoint where you develop something for yourself and then figure that you should share it with the rest of the world and in return get informal fame and glory. The problem here is that most of the time the rest of the world does not really follow the process the same way and then the tools become pretty useless. This is the also true for most pomodoro software...
